Poem writing using strong words
This is a Poem I wrote in English class. We were experimenting with strong words and how to use them. This is my result:
Home. Wherever I am.
Do you remember?
I remember a park.
You played with me
on the green, green grass.
It tickled around me and gave me rashes
I felt so free and happy, so full of joy,
And I laughed out loud.
I remember a park.
Do you remember?
I remember a garden.
You looked out for me,
No matter where I was.
I climbed a tree and you were there for me.
I felt free, up high. Up in the tree.
And I came back down and you were there for me.
I remember a garden.

Hi Fran! That’s a really pretty poem. I’m sure your parents would have loved reading!

Wow! This is a lovely poem! Its great! I like how you menitoned you got rashes in the grass! I like how the poem rhymes! This poem made me think of friends also, because friends are there to catch you (like you mentioned, when you were in the tree.) This is an amazing poem, and keep up on the great work with the blog, and the poetry!

Hey…this is a really good poem! How long did it take to write? It’s awesome…very meaningful. I write sometimes but not usually poems…I’m not very good at rhyming, like you are. This poem made me think of friends. Parents are a big part of life and everyone should love them! ♥

Hi… This is a really good poem. I like to write poems but I am not very good at them. It reminded me of when I was at the park with my sister and she fell off of a slide and my dad was there and helped her. Are those some of your childhood memories or did you just say that for a poem?
